As we had anticipated during the evening (in Italy) was presented the new Apple iPad 2. The first surprise of the event is the presence in the first person who attended the Steve Jobs keynote.

Let's start with the news of the new tablet in the house bitten:
We find a dual-core processor, the Apple A5 1Ghz that keeps unchanged the 10 hours, an increase of twice the performance than the first version and graphics performance nine times higher.

With regard to the design we find a thickness reduced by 33 percent compared to the first iPad, they touch the 8.8 mm. With regard to weight the iPad 2 had a weight loss of 15% reaching a weight of 580 grams.

The back side is less squared and with a finish similar to the curve at the edge of a knife. Two colors will be the availability, black and white. As operating system we have the new 4.3 version of IOS which will enjoy the presence of the newly revised version of the Safari browser, with Javascript Nitro Engine.

Preinstalled also find AirPlay, the app for photo editing PhotoBoot, FaceTime (video), iMovie (new versione) e Garageband, un'app per gli amanti della musica. Fra le altre caratteristiche troviamo una doppia fotocamera, con quella posteriore in grado di registrare filmati fino a 720p e quella frontale compatibile per le videochiamate. Abbiamo poi il giroscopio, uscita HDMI, connettività Wifi, bluetooth e 3G (a seconda delle versioni).

La commercializzazione inizierà negli Stati Uniti l'11 marzo prossimo, successivamente, in maniera progressiva, sarà estesa ad altri 26 paesi, Italia compresa, entro il 25 marzo.

I prezzi rispecchieranno gli stessi dell'attuale iPad seguendo le stesse varianti wifi e/o 3G e quantità di memoria interna.
